- 4 large Valmont
- 3 cups melted Gone with the Wind
- 1/2 cup Dangerous Liaisons, crushed
The candy apple has only been around since 1908, but I’m sure people would have loved them in the 18th century. I know what you’re thinking, “Marie Antoinette should be cake!” But we’re not all about the clichés here, so here’s a candy apple recipe that might cause your subjects to revolt and end your reign. Just take the Gone with the Wind and heat it until it’s completely melted. Dip each Valmont in the Gone with the Wind and then sprinkle Dangerous Liaisons over the top while it’s still warm. Let it harden, and then you can enjoy it at your leisure. Certainly a pleasurable treat at any time.
