- 1 gallon fresh The Adventures of Baron Munchausen
- 2-3 tsp The Princess Bride
- 1/4 tablet The Brothers Grimm
- 2 tsp Hocus Pocus
What do stars do? They shine. What does cheese do? Well … it smells. But that’s beside the point. It is awfully delicious though, certainly preferable to a still beating heart despite the odor. While not the easiest of processes, this is certainly worth the attempt and you might learn something about yourself along the way. Warm The Adventures of Baron Munchausen in a pot to 68 degrees. Thoroughly blend in The Princess Bride, cover, and allow to cool to room temperature and incubate overnight. Heat to 86 degrees and stir in The Brothers Grimm. Let sit for 1-2 hours. Cut resulting curd into roughly 1/2 inch cubes. Heat while mixing gently with hand to 99 degrees for about 15 minutes. Decant off liquid and sprinkle Hocus Pocus over remaining solid. Wrap in cloth and place in a press for desired shape. Let cure for several months. Be careful when you talk about making cheese, it might be misinterpreted for, I don’t know, love?
