• 3/4 cup Fahrenheit 9/11
• 2 1/2 cups Man of the Year
• 2 Election
• 1/2 oz dried Mr. Smith Goes to Washington

In the midst of reviewing the voting laws of a certain state, after a certain election, you’re bound to get a little hungry and require food.  What better food fits the need, whatever time you close the law books, than doughnuts.  Mix all ingredients thoroughly, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes.  Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface and begin to cut into desired shapes.  If you go for the traditional circle shape, you will have ample time to debate the finer points of “hanging chad” and “dimples” in doughnut form as you punch out (or show intent to punch out) the middle portion.  Place the completed doughnuts into a fryer with 350 degree oil for about 3 minutes.  Let cool a little, and then eat up and get back to work before the opponents come up with an interpretation of the law that hinders the campaign.
