This is the actual recipe inspired by Up in the Air for our series of 2010 Oscar Party Dishes.

• Cotton candy

For those of you busy jet-setting around the world, this dish is best created by stopping by your local fair grounds or farmer’s market and purchasing cotton candy directly.  Pull off a nice round chunk of it and place it in a cup of appropriate size.  We suggest using 2 oz size for the right portion.  If, however, your either have the homemade cotton candy machine you got when you were a kid or you have access to an industrial cotton candy machine by all means make your own cotton candy.  We, at Movie-Recipes.com, do not and in lieu of the 10 Best Picture nominations are taking the easy road with this dish by purchasing pre-made cotton candy.
